Community Scholarship Fund

For more than 70 years, the Community Scholarship Fund of Pleasantville has provided financial awards to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at institutions of higher learning or professional training/apprenticeship. With education costs continuing to rise, there is an ever-increasing need for help with these expenses.

In the last 5 years, thanks to the success of our fundraising events and the generosity of sponsors and donors from across the community, we have awarded scholarships totaling $125,000 to Pleasantville students. These scholarships ranged from $500 to $5,000, helping students attend institutions such as SUNY Albany, SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Binghamton, Boston College, and Clemson, to name a few.
